Contest Powwow Categories

Saturday

  • Tiny Tots - 0 to 4 age (around 2pm)
  • Father-Daughter special the Decranes 
  • Junior - age 5 to 12 - afternoon six categories boy and girls fancy, boy grass, girl jingle, boy northern and southern straight combined, and girls combine northern and southern including buckskin and cloth
  • Teen - age 13 to 17- same categories as junior - saturday night
  • Ms. UCSD Powwow is announced saturday night

Sunday

  • Adult - 18 to 54 on sunday - ten categories (men, fancy, grass, southern straight, northern traditional) (women - jingle, fancy shawl, northern traditional (buckskin and cloth), southern traditional (bukskin and cloth combined)
  • Golden Age - 55 to 100 - Two categories men combined and women combined
